Recap 2008

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

The year 2008 has been a very eventful year for me, both personally and professionally. This year, I’ve said good bye to close friends, met awesome new friends, had the honor of being a bridesmaid at two weddings, opened up my new blog, changed jobs, assisted 9 weddings, had 8 engagement sessions… the list continues! As I reflect on this year, I realize I am lucky to be surrounded by such good people. Although I don’t say it enough, I do reallly appreciate all the love and support from my family and friends! O I look forward to many many wonderful things in 2009!!!!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy new year~ :)

I will end with some pictures from the weddings I’ve assisted this year.

Merry Christmas!

Thursday, December 25th, 2008

I wish everyone a very merry Christmas! I have been eating A LOT of food and enjoying my free time. As I anxiously wait for my new 5d mark 2 (which is stuck at Laurel Md UPS location until the 29th :( ), I am trying to plan for 2009. I know this whole New Years resolution thing rarely works for me, but I like the planning part (plus, I have the time!) Maybe I will share some of my plans later to force myself to keep them. :)

Again, hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!

The Lee Family

Session Date: December 7, 2008
Location: Centreville, Va

A couple weekends ago, I went over to my good friend Greg’s house to photograph his family. We had originally planned to have the session outside, but it was way to cold and windy to take Han out. Luckily, their house had big windows everywhere which was very helpful. It is almost surreal to watch all my friends’ babies grow up so fast! I am thankful to be able to photograph them growing up and to witness how these little human beings develop different personalities. Oh I loove my little people!
